Question about 1987 Nissan Pickup
I have a 1988 Nissan Pickup truck that has sat since 2000. I start it up and it dies almost suddenly. Any Ideas?
I just went thru this. Fuel filter was clogged and fuel pump was shot and needed to be replaced

I had a nearly identical situation with my '86 that sat for four years which was fixed by replacing the ignition coil.

It would be a good idea to do a turn-up first before you fire it up. Since it has being setting for 9 years. make sure you put couple of drops of oil in each cyclender
Since you already had it runing and die suddenly, you need to check the timming belt, or replace it. if the car has more than 80,000 miles on it.
