Did you change the fluid and filter? If you did then it might be the forward clutches are burnt.

is this a manual or automatic tranny? If it is a automatic then I would check the converter. The lock up might be broke.

If it runs in 2end,3rd, and 4th, Then it is the syncro or fork in the tranny

I just got done putting in a clutch hydraulic system on a 95 Explorer. the problem he had was he did not have any clutch pedal. before he started to check it out he called me. I went and looked at it and there was fluid shooting out of the hydraulic filler cap when he pushed down on the clutch. The clutch position rod was bypassing. We changed it out and it works fine. If you have a good clutch pedal than it is in your tranny. I don't know if yours is hydraulic or not so I can not tell what the problem is. I do know that if your throw out bearing works right than it is in your tranny.

93 Honda Accord drive work fine reverse slip or wont work any solutions...

Reverse is the first to go, You might try to replace the fluid and the filter in the tranny, But will more then likely tell you you need a rebuild your tranny. The bands in the tranny ware out and rev, is usually the first to go. It will get worse, This is not cheep nor is a easy fix. You can find you another tranny at a salvage yard for $300-400 And will cost at least $400 to instal. With no warrenty.Best advise i can give is overhaul. Best of luck to you on it.

I have a 1997 Blazer in need of a new 4 wheel drive transmission. What year Blazer, Jimmy, GMC, S10, have compatiable transmissions for my vehicle?

All of the ones listed and 98 will work too. The transfer case comes off the end of the tranny and the tailshft housing comes off the two wheel drive tranny and the transfer case bolts right on, So all the two wheel drive trannys will work too. 97 and 98. Others will work too but you can't just plug them righ in as some of the sensers and switches are different. The junkyard that your dealing with if their any good will tell more that'll work than this and the changes that'll make even more trannys fit.

93 Jeep Grand Cherokee only revs when put in gear.

Three ways to check:
first: check if the shift cable is in position, cick down cable too..
-next: check if the torque converter is connected to the engine.
- remove the oil pan from the auto trans and check if the oil filter is in place. If you look to the right front side of the tranny, you see a lid with a coil spring in it. check if the spring is ok.
- if tranny is open, check for metal pieces or clutch material in the oil pan and the filter unit. If you find more than usual, replace the transmission.

My 2001 BUICK CENTURY TRANNY STOPS WORKIN AFTER 3 MIN.

Might want to remove the pan and look how much debris is in there. they can draw debris into the filter for like 15 minutes until it just wont let any more fluid go by then trans will neutralize. when you let it sit the debris by gravity falls back to the bottom of the pan. If this is the case changing fluid and filter may be a temporary fix but honesly when theres that much debris in there it needs rebuilt--in fact sometimes after fluid and filter change they wont move at all. The thick fluid and dirt provides some pressure. Hope I helped. Thanks

Tranny just stopped working 93 grand prix

Usually when this totally meltdown occurs and the fluid level is ok, its because of torque converter failure. i would rebuild asap if possible. its time for a new transmission. there may be a clog in the tranny filter but, i doubt it. this is usually a sign of massive gear damage and torque converter issues. i recommend a total rebuild
