My vauxhall vivaro van gear salecter has problem sellecting 1st 2

slave cylider is prone on this van the gear box has to be removed and new clutch fitted as the cylinder leakes fliud in the box get ride before it goes completly it is a very costly job!!!!!!!!!!! thanks jezza

Aww man, same problem last Thursday. Set out on a mega journey 6 hour drive shot...taking this bend luckily I had come off the motorway and the selector went. I veered off into this wee layby, phoned the AA who botched it to get me to my mates. One of the rods had snapped so I phoned around for the part £139 or something, dude took 20 to fit it, so not bad. Hey I tell ye what though what an amazing difference to that pain in the arse first gear selection, I don't have to do second then first nearly as much.
