Windshield wiper problems

As of lately my windshield wiper spray, sprays on its own without me touching anything. When it starts to spray normally when i start the car(also while driving), it wont stop for a min or two and the wipers will not turn on, also after its done this, the steering wheel gets a little tighter then normal and makes it hard for me to turn. Anyone had a problem like this? I must also change my clockspring could this have an effect on it. Please help!!!

    I have the same problem. My wipers com on randomly and will not turn off until they've decided they've had enough. It doesn't affect my steering however. I have a 2003 LS

I cant figure out how to spray washer fluid on the back window of my 2013 chevy sonic hatchback. the wipers have an intermittent /on/off switch. i dont see anything for spraying washer fluid though.

From the 2013 operators manual;

Push the windshield wiper lever forward to spray washer fluid on the rear window. The lever returns to its starting position when released.

The windshield washer reservoir is used for the windshield and the rear window. Check the fluid level in the reservoir if either washer is not working.

On my 03 chevy cavalier the windshield wiper hose only sprays hard out of the passenger side and kind pours out of the driver. i took a little bit of compressed air to try and clean it but didnt really do...

The driver''s side has either a broken or missing wiper nozzle. the only way you will be able to make it spray evenly is by replacing the nozzle. The problem is that without the nozzle, you will get a high volume of fluid delivered rather than the high pressure you should get if the restriction of the nozzle were there. It is akin to a the spray of a bare garden hose vs. one with an adjustable nozzle.

The windshield wipers and washer fluid dispenser stay on

This must be due to a defective windshield-washer-switch. Repacement of it is the only way.
