Question about 1993 Audi 90

1 Answer

Popping and groaning.

Okay, I've had this problem looked at already, and I'm still concerned that it wasn't fixed. My 93 Audi 90 has been making an obnoxious moaning sound when I turn. And occasionally, when I back up at an extreme angle or turn at an extreme angle, the front left wheel seems like it's popping out of place.

This hasn't affected my driving, however, if it is something serious, I'd like to take it in and get it looked at (AGAIN) before it becomes something worse.

This would be a duo between your cvh joint and cvh boot which will give the impression that your wheel wants to turn more than the allowed angle. also if you grasp the wheel from top to bottom and pull intermittently you should feel a little clicking noise same if you pull left to right, if so thenmust be bearings as well,if this the case i wouldnt drive to far as wheel likely to jump off mount and make impossible to control. would try cv joints first though
