Question about 2008 Jeep Liberty
My 2008 has approx 26,000 miles and is on battery #3. The most recent is a month old and it continues to go dead. Usually it is so drained there is NO power, not even to open the doors (they have to be opened using the key in the door). Once it is jump started, it will run fine for a day or even a few weeks and then do it again. The dearship has changed the battery twice and replaced the radio/nav system. I wonder if it has something to do with the auto start feature. This started 2 months after I bought the car brand new.
I found once I removed the fuse for my radio/navigatin system, I had no problem with my battery being drained again. Apparently there is a problem with Chrysler radio's still using power even after the car is shut off.

Unit has a draw somewhere that needs to be addressed. I have found the auto starts sometimes can cause this. But if the draw is through the negative side it could be tough. You should take it to the dealer and have them perform a draw test on the entire vehicle.
