Question about 2004 Chevrolet Suburban
I was driving with my A/C on and it was working perfect. All at once it shut off. The fan speed control for the front does not work at all, but the back fan control works fine. I checked all the fuses that had anything to do with the A/C and none appear to be blown. I cant figure out what would cause it to stop so immediate unless it would be a relay or fuse that operates the front control only. Is this a problem that is common with this model? Could there be another fuse that I dont know about that could be bad causing this problem?
Automatic climate control or manual ? blower motor control processor , probably . or the blower motor , or the HVAC control module etc.... All these are just guesses , without testing the electrical circuits . Did you check the BLOWER fuse 40amp located in the under hood fuse / relay box And the HVAC /ECAS fuse 10amp in the under hood fuse box ? Plus HVAC I fuse 10amp located in the I/P fuse box .

Well sure enough all I had to do was replace the circuit board...wish I had done this a couple months ago...it was so easy to do and will now be much easier to drive with being able to see clearly again....

SOURCE: Fuse location for 2004 suburban
The fuel pump works when you crank the motor and after the motor started, have someone start the car at the same time go to the back and listen for the pump, is inside the fuel tank, but You can her if works or not, bzzzzz! noise, The pump has a Relay inside the engine compartment left side in most GM cars, is a plastic square box plugged in to fuse panel among many others that look the same, but on owners manual is a page that shows fuses and Relays

It may be the heater fan motor or connection to it .
I have replaced a lot of these that required a new connector to make then work....as the original connector semi melted at the fan motor.
