I need instructions on removing and replacing the transmission cooler lines going to the radiator on a 96 jeep grand cherokee. also would a part store carry the replacement assembly or do i need to go to...

Those lines actually go to a small transmission oil cooler mounted behind the grill. Don't be surprised if you end up replacing the entire cooler. The best way to get to it is to remove the front bumper cover, and grill. The bumper is mostly held in place by those plastic push in connectors, and the grill is a pretty straightforward unbolting job. As you remove the grill , make a note of where they placed the wires for the lights, it's very easy to pinch one on re-assembly. I would certainly try an auto parts store first, they are available. Depending on your time frame, I have found the parts online also. It's really a pretty easy fix, just time consuming. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions about this, good luck!

How to replace head light on 2004 maxima?

"The bad news is that to be able to access the 3 other bolts that hold the light assembly together, you have to remove the front bumper. including the grill. It is really not that hard, but you should take your time to do it right and to make sure you put it back together the same way. To remove the bumber you must unscrew to screws that are located inside each wheelwell behind the cover. I found it easier to remove both front wheels and hold the car up in stands unfront. these are the only screws that you will find, two on each side. after that just remove the black self taping screws from the grill and then reach behind the grill and compress the tabs that hold the grill to the bumper. remove the grill and then keep removing the self taping screws until the bumper comes off. BE CAREFULL to not let the bumper drop as it still has your conner lights connected. you can disconnect the corner lights or just place something to support the bumper. Hope this helps you, If you take it to the dealer they charge a labor of about $250.00 plus parts." -http://www.nissanclub.com/forums/2004-2008-nissan-maxima-gen-6-discussion/237350-2004-nissan-maxima-se-headlight-bulb-replacement.html

Want to change headlight

Sorry, I have the same problembut the answers are not what you want to hear.
1) The headlight assemblies are mounted to the front Bumper and grill support "system". To remove the light assemblies there is a "hidden" mounting system that cannot be accessed while the bumper is mounted on the jeep.
2) Most Hayes/Chilton and other POS (..worthless) consummer repair manuals do an extremely poor job of explaining (thats a laugh) or showing (again the pix and diagrams ****) how to remove the bumper.
3) I suggest going to the local Jeep dealer and spending $60-75 for an official Shop mechanics manual for a slightly better explanation and illustration.
4) If you are patient, mechanically talented, and can do without the Jeep for a day, you can (a) remove the grill, (b) remove the radiator 'retainer' top (the metal U that looks like its the top part of the radiator, (c) use #10mm sockets and box wrenches to remove the tubular bumper mounts from the grill area, (d) use pliers to compress the push-in pins on the very bottom of the bumper (below the crack pulley) and remove the plastic lower bumpersection. ** That is as far as I have gotten**.
