In all likelihood, in a relay box, under the hood. Failing that, it ought to be in the fuse panel, inside the car

The turn signal flasher on a 2001 Monte Carlo is behind the hazard
button on the instrument panel. You have to take out the instrument
panel bezel to access it. Hope this helps.

It was located behind the fuel center display panel. No need to ever go
under the dash and dig through all of the panels and wires.

Hi

The flasher switch is mounted on top of the steering column. Over time, dust builds inside the switch and pretty soon, the ground gets gummed up. Spray WD40 or better yet NAPA's "Brake and Electric Motor Cleaner" down the flasher switch hole; work the switch up and down several times and everything will work fine again. If the flashers regain power but the turn-signals do not, spray some cleaner in the directional switch hole as well. It works like a charm!!!

Please revert for any clarifications.

Thankyou for using FixYa.

The flasher is behind the hazard button on the instrument panel. You have to take out the instrument panel bezel to access it.

Also, replace the fuse on the right side of the dash.

Under the top steering wheel cover is whats called the tun signal malfunction switch. thats what your looking for. its usually at the base of the turn signal operation arm(thing used to turn the signals on) or under the steering wheel on the steering column.

How to fix the turn signals on my ford exposition

exposition ? Do you mean expedition ? What year ? The turn signal switch could be bad , bad fuse , turn signal flasher would be a likely culprit . hazard light flasher is different from turn signal flasher .

Turn lights blink with hazards but not with turn signal..flasher replaced. is It the multifunction lever then??

There should be a turn signal flasher and a hazard flasher. They are two different parts. If you replaced the hazard flasher and not the turn signal flasher than I would start by replacing the turn signal flasher.

One thing you can do once you find the turn signal flasher is to unplug it and use a jumper wire between the two pins of the connector then turn the key to the run position and place the turn signal lever in the left or right position. If the turn signal lights know light up than the turn signal flasher is the problem

Signal light flasher location

The turn signal flasher and the emergency flasher on most cars are located in the same area. Turn on the emergency flasher and find the sound......the turn signal flasher should be in the same area.

Turn signals were working...but blinking fast. now they don't work at all...replaced fuse in side panel near door and still nothing. Everything else works..headlights, wipers, hazards..what gives?

you have a separate flasher for the turn signals.this is what your problem sounds like.if all your lights are working including the signal indicator on the dash then it will be the signal flasher.if you turn on the hazard flashers and locate it under the dash, this will show you what the turn signal flasher will look like.then you will have to look for the flasher unit on the fuse panel that looks like the hazard flasher.replace the turn signal flasher and you will have your signal flashers again

Turn Signals quit working

Sounds like the turn signal flasher is going bad. The easy way to find wher the flasher is hidden is turn the turn signal on and find the clicking, that is the flasher. The emergency flashers work fine because they use a different flasher.
