My silenoid went out in my 1997 cavalier and I dont know how to hook up the wires in the right place. Please Help

There is definately a wiring reconect issue here. I would say that most likely you have the positive and negative connections at the starter solenoid reversed.

My sons abs, etf and low trac light keeps coming on on his 1997 cavalier any help would be great.


Well, try having the car hooked up to a diagnostic machine. The abs light usually comes on with the cavaliers. my wife has a 96, and the same thing happens with the abs. As for the etf light, I dont know what etf is. Is that suppsed to be atf? That would be tranny fluid if it is.

you should be able to find a fuse in the line that triggers the relay

firdt and foremost get the right adapter from auto parts store or walmart. for christ sakes dont start cutting wires.

97 murcury mountaineer blows #10 fuse


check for a short by the starter exhaust melts these wires together good luck
