Question about 2006 Triumph Tr 8
I have recently crashed my VS commodore into the curb now my back wheels are shifted to the left side so my back right wheel is up against the body of the car. the bar undernaeth that is bent but i donno wat its called and also my right wish bone looks to bent. and do you know how much would cost to fix
Panhard rod. go to the wreckers and get one from another vs. shouldnt cost u more than $20. as for the wishbone a wheel alignment will give you an indication if this is bent. if it is a minor one a realinment may fixit otherwise once again visit the wreckers and get one. dont forget to take some coil spring compressors ( you can hire them if you dont own or want to buy any). shouldnt take you more than a half a day.
you say wishbone, which is in the front, so if it is just a trailing arm, dont need the compressors just take a few spanners n sockets out, get the right sizes and hed to the wreckers. You should get them parts for under $50. half a day and half a slab of beer with a mate and you should be on your way again, after sobering up of course :)
