Our fan only worked 1/2 the time and sometimes if we shut our driver door a little harder then normal it would kick on . when it is really cold wont work and sometimes when it warms up it will kick on but not all speeds would work on the fan. Also doesnt want to blow but in one setting. Now that winter is almost over we really need to get this fixed. Also driver side window doesnt work.

If the temp gauge periodically rises higher than normal and then falls back to normal, you probably need to change the thermostat as it may be sticking shut and then popping open. It's a good time to change some hoses, coolant and check the belts if they've been on the car for awhile.
the cab heater fan?, there can be 4 fans on some cars. front condenser, 2 on rad, and 1 in cab heater box. the cab fan? does it fail on high too? it has a switch, (marked fan speed) the switch is bad ,if low speed are dead. and high are good. or wiring to it , the motor or the fuse. even a cracked fuse, change the fan fuse to a new fuse.
on your a/c blowing warm air at stops it sounds like radaitor cooling fan not working, fan motor or fan relay most likly cause, light with skid marks sounds like anti=lock brake system problem, possible bad wheel speed sensor, on shifter getting stuck and engine not starting sounds like ignition switch going bad, hope this helps ?
Do you have the AVC (auto volume control) enabled? If so, disable it and see what happens. If that doesnt fix it, try to do a "hard reset" by pulling out the shunt fuse. It's 1 or 2 fuses in a little yellow thing in the fuse box on the inside driver side, just pull it out a little, not all the way. Your dome lights, door dinger ect should stop working as well, this is normal. Wait 5 min and push it back in, hopefully that'll fix it up.
If you know how to remove the interior door trim take that off. If not there is a post on the site already I had just given directions how to do. Once you have the trim panel off you should be able to see part of the power window motor. If you do take a hammer hit it but not too hard. sometimes they need a bit of a jiggle to get going. try it and if it does not work try again, don't begin to hit it harder each time if it does not work. try a little bit harder if you feel like it but if it still doesnt work it is the power window motor you will need to replace then.
The motor is shot. It works a little and overheats, replace the motor . Same thing the the lock acuators. The are trying but have lost the power to move the locks. May as well replace them while the door is apart.
WELL ON THE TALON AND ALOT OF OTHER CARS LIKE IT SOMETIMES IT WOULD BE BETTER TO RUN YOUR FAN TO A TOGGLE SWITCH ALSO WAT IT SOUNDS LIKE IS YOUR THERMOSTAT MIGHT BE GOING OUT AND IF THERE IS A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON YOU CAN TAKE IT TO ADVANCE AND THEY WILL DO A FREE DIAGNOSTICS FOR YOU
the fords are well known for the little motors inside the doors to freeze up and stop working!!
but since you say sometimes they work and sometimes they don't, could mean that your BCM is bad!!
(BCM= Body Control Module)
Hi,yes in some of this vehicles there are fuses at the engine compartment ,,it may said fuses on top of the box if not ,look for a black box that opens by two little latches at the side, good luck.......
