Question about 1996 Mazda Pickup
I own a 1996 mazda B2300 std cab, short bed, manual trans., f.i., I was recently told that I needed a new fuel tank. After asking around at other places I was given different information. I was told by one that my fuel tank was a solid unit that included the filler neck, and I was also told that the filler neck is a separate unit that attaches to the fuel tank. The neck has a crack in it, the tank is fine. I don't want to spend money for a fuel tank when I only need to replace the filler neck. Could you please clear up the confusion and tell me whether this is a solid unit or two pieces. Thank you for your help.
You will need to get the numbers off the fuel tank to verify which one you have, there is no other way, the numbers are large and on the bottom of the tank.
