Question about 1988 Chevrolet S-10
i have a 1988 2.8L chevey s-10. this is a problem that has been persisting and getting worst. it first started out puttering after it had been running for
awhile and was warm. so i replaced the fuel filter but it didnt do anything. i put carb cleaner in the (TBI) and it started working again. but the puttering came back. and got worst. it got to the point that it would'nt even stay started without your foot on the gas. not the starter is out so im replacing that and this problem. I'm now thinking its the vacuum line but i see no cracks or problems. theres also a filter right next to the (TBI) (not connected) that im currious if maybe it could be clogged. but i have no idea what type of filter it is. i do know there are vacuum hosses going into it, and electrical wires as well.
