Automatic choke not working

There is no choke on a 94 Camry. Might you have posted in the wrong category?

The extra petrol required for a cold start on this car is supplied by the injectors as controlled by the car's computer. If you experience hard starting and hesitant running when cold, it is most likely that you have a

- failed enginetemperature sensor
- malfunctioning fuel pressure regulator or fuel pump
- faulty cold start injector (3VZ engine only)
- carbon tracks on distributor or rotor surfaces

My 1998 toyota camry wont start

remove the distributor cap and check for corrosion on the points or carbon tracking lines inside the cap...most likely needs a full tune up being plugs, wires, cap and rotor

94 Camry w/2200 quit running, rotor doesn't turn while cranking.

Hello.

If the rotor in the distributor is not rotating when you crank the engine, you have a broken timing belt.

The timing belt connects the crankshaft to the camshafts.

The camshaft turns the rotor.

No spark, 1988 Toyota Camry 3SFE 4cyl, 5 speed.

there is no crank sensor on this vehicles 2.0L. If you have power to the coil, new coil, cap and rotor try this if not done yet>>>Unplug coil power first....Try pulling off the distributor cap, and make sure the rotor is spinning with the cam...If this fails to spin, inspect the entire distributor assembly. If it passes, Inspect all the power circuit and wiring to the dist assembly, if ok possible ecu. i recommend having a mechanic check it out!! Hopefully this helps...please rate...thanks

94 toyota camry stalls at red lights and stop signs, then acts like it doesnt want to restart

could be bag igniter or crank sensor. basically, might be a spark problem. if you turn it on and don't smell fuel when you pump the gas, it's spark. if you don't, it's a fuel problem. filter or injectors.

Is this a 4 cyl. or a 6 ?
It's possable the EGR valve is stuck wide open also causing it to dump fuel. Are the plugs wet after cranking for a while?
Talk to ya soon, Dan
