2000 Blazer Code 0300 will not start without eng. starting fluid

The past few months my Blazer has not started unless I give it a shot of Ether to get it going. It runs great once its started. I took it to the Auto Store and they gave me these problem codes.
P0300 random multiple cylinder misfires
P0453 Evap emmision control system pressure sensor high
P0452 Evap emmision contol pressuere sensor low
The vehicle has 120,000 and I don't believe any types of tuneups have ever been done.
Please help

Your vehicle needs 60 psi of gas to start but only 50psi to run.replace your fuel pump or checked for clogged fuel filter.so when you get it started then it will run .check the pressure with key on.

o2 sensors will not cause 453 and452 that would be a bad vent valve for the evap system. but the rest is good info

Try unplugging the battery for ten minutes and see if this can reset the code, if it does not you have a bad Evap emmision contol pressure sensor.

Let us know how it goes.

Replace gas cap give it a full tune up make sure you runs wires correctly and use die electric on the plug wires then unhook battery for 5 minutes to clear codes this should solve your problems and remove static from your radio also put a can of fuel injection cleaner to clean your injectors
hope this helps

P0300-----One of the hardest codes to track down. The system has detected a misfire that cannot be attributed to any one cylinder.
The best way to go is cheapest first, so install new, properly gapped spark plugs and replace the plug wires. That will leave only the much more expensive coils and ignition control module for that system.
If no change then move on to the fuel system before spending big bucks.
also this could be caused by bad fuel performance or clogged injectors so change the fuel filter, check fuel pump performance, and first try a fuel injector cleaner before removing and cleaning them or replacing them.
O2 sensors are relatively cheap and could possibly set off the code.

P0453 and p0452 is a problem on cooling system or fan in radiator.

Wont start unless give it a shot of starting fluid

It sounds like the idle air control solenoid valve is stuck open. You can sometimes remove it and clean it with carburetor cleaner. It is located on the left side of the throttle body just behind the fuel control valve, it is held on with two screws.

98 Chevy blazer won't start up but will crank ,,

Try giving it a shot of starting fluid. You don't say if it's actually firing. If it tries or runs for a few seconds off of the starting fluid then try changing the fuel pump relay. It's inside of the glove box on the left hand side behind the little door. If that doesn't work it's most likely the fuel pump.

Just R&R a motor in a 2002 pontiac grand prix GTP-Supercharged. started up after a few cranks and a shot of ether. But idles very high and when we test drove it shifted fine on the first run but wont...

To fix the high idle, replace the top oxygen sensor. I would drop the transmission pan and change the transmission filter. You can then check the old fluid for contamination and metal filings. Metal filings will clog the transmission filter and lead to low pressure that would cause delayed shifts

1987 k5 blazer sometimes wont start unless i give it a quick shot of ether

Its time for a new fuel pump . The check ball in the fuel pump that holds the residual pressure you need to start up the vehicle is defective.

Have you changed the fuel filter lately? If not do so. Sounds like fuel restriction. Filter usually on frame rail passenger side. Good luck!

2000 VOLVO S80 HAS A LARGE VACUUM LEAK. HOW DO I

In the past we have used starting fluid to find vacuum leaks. Start the engine, let it idle. Spray quick shots of starting fluid at your vacuum lines in isolated areas. When the starting fluid find the vacuum leak the engine will react to it... usually by going up in rpm. Depending on your engine computer, it may stall the engine. Either way you will find your vacuum leak. Get starting fluid or "ether" at Autozone or O'Reilly.
