There are 2 problems first problem the seat belt unit has a switch in it so it will have to be replaced this were you plug in the seat belt.next problem brake light on dash is the fluid is a little low or a bad sensor which is on the cap or inside the reservoir of the master cylinder.

Seat Belt Indicator flashes and beeps randomly

If I remember correctly there is a sensor in the seatbelt buckle. It might have worked its' way loose and your leg motions might be moving it enough to open or ground the circuit. Might be a good idea to check and see if something fell into the latch area, too.

Electrical short

Your problem is pointing to the alternator. Since you say the alternator is only a year old, the I would check the tension on the belt (deflection should be about 1/2 an inch), and the belt itself. Your problem most likely lies in either the belt, belt tensioner (if applicable), or alternator.

04 Corolla "BRAKE" light on dash--comes on occasionally??

I wouldn't drive it... when your brake light comes on, it means there's a serious fault with your brakes. They may not engage when you brake and there won't be any further warning other than the brake light

Right rear blinker doesn't work. Brakes light comes at wrong time

You have a wire shorting out somewhere. Inspect from tail light forward. A test light will probably help you.
