Question about 2008 Ford Taurus
I removed the panel directly under the steering wheel (thinking this is where the fuses were) immediately the car would not turn over - just dead - I feel like it felt as if I was trying to steal it. WHAT CAN I DO??? HElp me please
For some reason 2007 was not available below - my car is NOT an 2008 it is an 2007
I would assume you disconnected a poorly connected starter interrupt wire. If you turn the key on and the lights come on in the dash but you turn to crank and . . . . nothing I would look for wire that was cut in half one end comming from the ignition switch to the alarm and one going from the alarm to the firewall. If no alarm message me back we'll come up with something. good luck.

The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by
the brake pedal. Remove the panel cover to access the fuses.
To remove a fuse use the fuse puller tool provided on the fuse panel
cover. Fuse 27 is the ABS fuse
