yes you need a new thermostat or there is low coolant. this will affect the mpg because your overheating and thats why its stalling. dont drive until you fix or you will blow your head gasket if it isnt blown already. change thermostate and check coolant.
Check coolant level, sounds like air in the system, You can remove majority by taking rad cap off and kneeding the hoses, you should see air bubbles in the coolant, once done the coolant level will drop,do this several times, can normally be done with engine at standstill, but more effective with engine running, but be carefull of fan blades and belts when doing this. Suggest trying with engine stopped
the hazard switch is the problem or it is cause by passive alarm, remove the hazard switch or hazard fuse and observe the function of the lights, if lights stop flashing, change the switch, if continous flashing check the keyless entry reciever or the body control module
The plastic lense that you push to manually turn the light on and off pops off and the bulb is right there. I had the same problem and while I was having the oil changed I had the mechanic show me how to do it.
The lite came on because the computer saw that there was no power to the cooling fan curcuit. That is monitored by the computer. But to be sure you should have someone read the code for you. Or you can disconnect the battery and it will clear the code. If the lite comes back on the computer is still seeing a problem and you should have it check.
