After a drive...place your hand on the center of the rim...Is it hot? If it is....you probably have a bearing going out.
Also check your tire balance and tire for tread seperation...Your local Les Shwab will do this for free.

SOURCE: loud humming noise from drivers side front end

humming noise usually comes from wheel bearings. did you change that with a new bearing? also choppy or worn tires can cause humming noise that sounds like bad wheel bearings. rotate your tires and see if the noise changes. if so its tires. also even if it sounds like its from the right it could very well be a bad bearing in another location.

SOURCE: Humming noise in front end of truck

I'm having the same problem with my 2006 Chevy 2500 duramax...The humming starts at 25mph and then gets less prominent and then at 50mph it gets more prominent and louder, then at 60mph you can hardly hear it.....I did notice a little bit of leakage where the front axel meets the from diff on the drivers side.
Any suggestions?

SOURCE: Vibration/Humming/Grinding noises when stopping or turning left.

when turning left vehicle distributes weight to right front wheel bearing causing load. since u describe a noise in right front while driving straight i would suspect failed right front wheel bearing. see if your noise changes/goes away while turning right that should tell u 4 sure

SOURCE: When my 2005 Infiniti G35x

One of the front wheels isn't balanced correctly and its vibrations cause a resonance in the suspension at that speeds. You might also have a look at the shocks - if you have fitted new tires their hardness and misbalance might bring out the weaknesses in the shocks : these vibrations might be the first sign the shocks have aged and will soon have to be replaced.
You just need to have all the wheels balanced and the bushings of the suspension inspected at a tyre shop - a 30 minute/$50 simple job.

I replaced my tierod on the passenger front.there is still some play in the left to right there is also a humming sound at speeds 40+mph. it's coming from the hub bearing or ball joint.

Any wear or play in a bush or rod usually gives a 'knock' or causes vibration, not a humming noise.
If there's play in the steering wheel that may be due to a worn steering rack and pinion.

A worn ball joint can cause a 'crack' noise and depending on the wear, vibration that will be felt through the steering wheel. A worn ball joint can also cause the car to pull to one side.

A humming noise suggests it is either a brake rotor/pad, or a worn driveshaft or wheel bearing.

1996 ford contour loud humming noise and vibration from front wheels

You have a defective wheel bearing most likely, the noise sounds correct for that problem. have a shop drive it before you replace anything to confirm my guess.

2007 Volkswagen Golf Sport GTI 1.9 - Humming noise I bashed my car in works car park by hitting the pavement with all the ice and snow we've had. That night as I was driving back it made a slight...

I suggest having the front suspension immediately inspected for damage, especially something that could be repaired before causing more damage. It appears that it may, at the minimum, be out of alignment and at worst, the axle and/or frame nay be bent.

Slight vibration feeling

is it a buzzing type sound? That can happen both the driver and passengerside. there is a white clip that locks the dash to the firewall. you need to get at it as stick a piece of felt to stop the vibration. but it is very tough to reach..

2004 Chevrolet Malibu front end hum

I think your right that its a bad bearing or hub. If your feeling it in the gas pedal and the floor, its most likely the front. If you can find an empty parking lot, try to get up to the speed it starts making the noise, and turn left and right. With the extra load being put on each bearing from turning, that will tell you which side it is.
