Question about 2000 Saturn SL

My 1997 Saturn Has a really hard time starting in the morning, It

It's fine once it finely starts but it take any where from 5 to 10 time trying to start it before it will run, It will back fire a couple of times and runs very rough. It works fine when it is warm outside, It starts right up. I've replaced the fuel filter. What else can I do.

Why is my 98 saturn alway flooded when i try to start it


Fel pressure regulator is bad, I'm sure. When you Turn off the car, pressure remains in the injector rail. The diaphram in the regulator allows that pressure to enter the engine through the vacuum line that controls it, and floods the engine. I am 99.9% sure this is your problem

2000 saturn want start after driving for a while


You are likely experiencing vapor lock. Changing gasoline grade, or getting a vented gas cap may help.

I have a 2001 IS 300 with 160,000 mi. I was having trouble starting the car in the morning where it would take 2 or 3 tries to get it to turn over. It is in a garage in California, so not in extreme cold....


try if this works\improves your situation;

turn the key to ON but don't crank, let it sit for 2 seconds. Do this 2-3 times, then put it in the ON position, wait 2 seconds then crank. As for what it is, could be spark plugs, fuel pump\line issue, etc..

Have you tried replacing the O2 sensor and having your fuel injectors cleaned and checked? It sounds like it could be a fuel problem / emissionsproblem.

yes, remove starter taka it to a service shop for servicing and checks , also check the condition of the battery,make shore it's holding charge and cells are ok.
