Can not find the fuel pressure regulator location for the 2006 scion xa. which one how does it look like?

    no its not at the fuel rail by the fuel injecter. just went to check on the car.

    yes, i got the same fuel pressure re. as show in the picture from auto zone. the one on top of my car engine look way smaller and short.

    cause when i start the car cold, it start right up, and drove about 10min,pull in the gas station turn off the car,restart the car, it won't start till about two try later.

    and every time i open the gas cap lately there is not pressure like before

The fuel pressure regulator is located at the top of gas tank, the best way to access it is by lifting the car.

The fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel pump in the tank. I believe you can get by taking out the back seat.

On this model it is built onto the fuel pump module .located in your fuel tank.why are you replacing it?

    if your regulator goes bad it wont shut off fuel pressure.your vent valve solenoid is bad

I know you are looking to have the remote starter run a third time but I would say you need to look at your Fuel Pressure Regulator on the Scion. Sounds like it is not holding fuel pressure at the fuel rail and that is why it requires a third Crank

ok is this the first time that you have changed them, most plugs will go for 60,000 miles but you be the judge, if you get bad milage than change them

Scion xa 2006 dont turn control lights


blue temp light means coolant is not warmed up to operating temp-engine light won't come on unless there is a problem-cheers Denny

Fuel pressure regulator


Your fuel pressure regulate is located on the gas tank on the top. You will have to get at it one of two ways. Either through the truck or by under the car

IAT location on my Scion XA


Your intake air temperature sensor is part of the MAF (mass airflow sensor) and located right off the air filter housing in the large tube going to the throttle body.Its held on with 2 screws and has a 5 wire electrical plug going to it.
