Hubby just went out to look again after reading some of the solutions on here. The truck was sold in Chatham ON Canada so it should have a plug I would think. We have some cold weather here and my truck did not like the bitter cold this year.
If there is no plug I guess I will just have to deal with the hard starts on the cold mornings.

Where would i find the block heater if my car actually has one?

block heaters are usually found in diesel vehicles. Check your manual for the location if you have a diesel or you believe your car came with this option.

Where are the glow plug relays located on a 2001 dodge 2500 diesel cummings motor

There arent any glow plugs, there is an intake heater in the manifold, there are 2 relays under driver side battery that warms the heater (when wait to start light is on) for starting.

Engine stalls while driving and you have to sit for a while then it will start, but only if the wait to start light comes on, if no light it will not start. only seems to happen in the winter months.

I assume this is a diesel? May be your glow plugs not all working,or temp senser that controls the cycling of the plugs,or you glow plug timer.I am not sure if this year has a fuel heater in the fuel heater block.

Where do you plug in a2003 chevy 2500 diesel when it is going to be cold

If you have a block heater, there will be an extension cord type plug somewhere near or under the front grille (sometimes you need to find the heater and follow the wire to find wherever it got tucked in) That gets plugged into an extension cord from the house power.

2003 duramax 2500 i need to know the location of the cord for the block heater

If it has the block heater, the heater is located on the drivers side center of engine block. You should be able to crawl underneath, and see where the heater is put in place of a freeze plug, and just follow the wires up.. Usually tucked in along the fender somewhere..

Location of block heater cord on my 2003 chevy silverado

MIne was on the passenger side inside the wire loom next to the shock. You can get to it through the fender well. It just looked like a ball of tape and only the plug itself was exposed with the rest of it doubled back on itself inside the loom. It was actually long enough to stick out of the front of the truck.
