Question about 2002 Chevrolet Tracker
Check the fan belt for tightness.It's a small belt and to tighten it you need to looesen two bolts. Actually the complete fan unit will move . It tales about 10 min to do this and you need a long bar to get leverage on it, then tighten the bolts.Mine squeels when loose or high humidity.
The dealer charged me $40.00 to do this and while at another garage it took a few nim. and no charge and the mechanic told me what to do.

If belt is tensioned to spec.
and the belt is new.
then the pump is seized.
