Power steering for ford fusion

A friend of mine hooked some tow cables to the wrong thing and pulled out my power steering line. I have most of it put back together but I can't find the other spot where it had came out. Does anyone know where I can find a diagram for this?

I have a 2013 ford fusion titanium and my brake pedal is locked up and my steering wheel is too anyone know what the problem ia or how to fix it?!

Vehicle should still be under warranty , unless you bought it used . We are not clairvoyant ,without looking at it , couldn't say what's wrong for sure . I'd only be guessing . Sounds like you haven't much knowledge about automobiles . Your best bet , have it towed to a qualified repair shop .

2010 ford fusion hyprid power steering went out

Power Steering - Hybrid The electric power assist steering system consists of:
  • power steering control module
  • electric motor
  • torque sensor
  • rack-and-pinion steering gear
The electric power steering system provides power steering assist to the driver by replacing the conventional hydraulic valve system with an electric motor coupled to the steering gear. The motor is controlled by an electronic control unit that senses the steering effort through the use of a torque sensor mounted between the steering column shaft and the steering gear. Steering assist is provided in proportion to the steering input effort and vehicle speed.

your best bet would be to have the ford dealer check it out !

Towing limit for a ford fusion 1.6 diesel zetec

<1000 pounds. That comes from an unauthorized source not from Ford. I think the owner's manual says no towing should be done and with that I agree, the car may pull the weight but the brakes may not stop it fast enough to avoid a serious crash. It is totally your decision.

Put a new battery and alternater on 2011 ford fusion now no power steering and radio

would suggest you have it towed to a dealer or mechanic . you apparently have the serpentine belt wrong to effect power steering . as far as radio perhaps you blew a fuse .

Power steering assist fault light stays illuminated on a 2012 ford fusion

This had been an intermittent problem on my 2012 Fusion, but the other day it became permanent. I have since discovered that the Fusion has electronic power steering, that this problem is caused by a bad module, and that the fix involves replacing the entire rack and pinion system.

Just wondering if i can tow a ford f-150 with 4 wheel drive and with the front tire off the ground or also known as a car dolly or will it damage my truck????? also wondering about my power steering pump...

1. If you disconnect the transmission , no.
2. Either your steering shaft - relatively cheap and easy to replace - or the steering box - expensive and hard to replace - are at fault. How was your luck lately?

2000 Dodge Durango bad steering pully cable and pump

Unless the tow truck operator hooked up to the wrong thing the tow will have nothing to do with it.

I have never heard of any connection to the transmission and power steering, so the chances of the transmission repair causing the p/s failure is pretty low.

Is the repair shop reputible? I would recommend a second opinion from another shop.
