How to by pass a 1996 ford explorer anti theft system

My 96 ford explorer just quit on me as i was driving and it wont start. i have replaced all the relay switches,fuel pump.i was told that ,my anti theft may not be working or has been turn on.

Check to see if one of the larger fuses in the Power Distribution Box needs to be replaced. Fuses say: FOAB 14B192-AA 5H11 0301 or 0302. When it happened to the person that I bought it from, he said he switched one out for the other, and then it started. It's an intermitten problem with mine, and I haven't figured it out yet, but I am hoping that's all it is.

Try re-setting the computer...Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and leave off for 5-10 minutes. This will allow the computer to reset. The charger may have interupted the signal or something.

Lock cylinder was ripped out.ive replaced cylinder and key.anti theft is still activated,and tower ford cant reprogram new lock codes because there computer does'nt register when plugged in to cpu.it turns...

you need the schematic to see where the module is killing the ignition and or the fuel system. it will not be easy to do.,

Do you have a keyless entry? You could try to enter your vehicle using the keypad on the drivers side door, This should turn off the anti-theft security.

The anti theft can be unlocked at any authorized car dealer, check the ecu first.

What you need to do it un lock you doors from the in side. so push lock and then un lock from the in side. Then you should have no problems.
