I went to Autozone.com and for that component this is what was listed. Driver's side, upper engine area, mounted in distributor. Hope this helps you.

The 3.0 engine should be near the crank pulley in front of the engine.
The 3.8 engine uses a distributor.

93 accord where is the crank sensor

All the ignition sensors are located inside the distributor and is generally better to replace the entire distributor than individual parts inside it.

Is the crank pulley pressed on crank for a 93 ford festiva

remove the large bolt at the center of the crank pully and the bolts on the smaller pully and the warer pump pully put jack under oil pan, remove front upper engine mount and lower the jack this will allow you to remove the timing belt cover and then pry off the pully with a large screw driver

I need to set the timing on a 93 festiva

You need a timing light (assuming that it is the ignition timing that you want to set)
Locate the timing mark in the crankshaft pulley and mark it with chalk or tippex.
Locate the timing marks on the engine front casing.
Have the engine at operating temperature and connect the timing light to the #1 plug or lead(you can do that with the engine running if it is an inductive timing light with a clamp that goes over the cable).
loosen the distributor clamp and, with the light aimed at the timing marks and the engine at idle, adjust the distributor until the crankshaft mark lines up with the specified advance mark on the casing.
Tighten the distributor clamp and remove the timing light.
Be careful of pulleys, belts and fans, all can cause serious injuries if fingers, hair or clothing get caught up in them.

89 ford festiva l wont go into 5th gear how do i fix it

88 - 89 festiva "L" models came with a 4 speed. Unless it has been swapped with a 5 speed from an 88 - 89 "LX" or a 90 - 93 festiva 4 gears is all you have. Everything you ever wanted to know about your festiva can be found a fordfestiva.com. I've seen 8 festivas with 500,000 miles now. They are bullet proof and big time fun. Easy to work on too. And most owners are really down to earth because we don't care what people think of us. Festivas are also easy and cheap to make very fast. Get on the forum. We will welcome you!

My mechanic cannot find the location of the crank shaft position sensor on my 93 Nissan Altima

there are sites that show a pictures of ckp sensors for these cars, but it is the wrong one. the sensor is inside the distributor. you have to remove the cap, rotor and a black cover that goes over the inside of the distributor. the reason for this cover is because you have what is called an optical pickup sensor which works with light. if any natural light or oil gets on this sensor it will cause all sorts of ignitiion problems.
this sensor can't be replaced. it is part of the distributor and has to be replaced as awhole.
that is the reason you can't find the sensor.
