It doesnt have a cap, you will need a funnel.

GM products transmission fills through the transmission dipstick tube.

2009 Hyundai Sonata automatic transmission fluid changing, How to fill the tranmission, is there a fill plug? OR should i use the

You add fluid in the same pipe the dip stick is in. Remove the dip stick and insert a funnel and add fluid through there. Check it frequently since there is no way to remove fluid easily if you over fill the transmission.

I had to change the motor and some of the tranmission fluid leaked out how do i add some back if i cant find the dip stick

There should be a fill plug on side of trans pan. Fill it until it just starts to run out the fill hole.

Cant find the stick for tranmission fluid

It doesn't have one. You have to remove a plug in the trans near the passenger side cv shaft when the engine is running and fill the trans thru the red cap near the air box until fluid runs from the plug hole near the cv shaft.

Hi!!

Take the measuring stick from sleeve, place a funnel into sleeve (two dollars at your favorite auto parts) and add tranny fluid to level. Do not overfill.

get a transmission funnel. it is wide and has a flexible tube. remove your dipstick. unless you have just replaced the filter or transmission add fluid by the pint to a transmission. get the fluid with the car running and in park. you will need to add some. wait for it to settle,. start the car and repaet till full.

There is a rubber plug that is actually the dip stick. You can check out you fluid level but you have to crawl under the truck and remove the plug and there is your dip stick it is only a couple of inches long. user_offline.gif quote.gif
