Question about 1997 Honda Odyssey
What does SRS mean on my honda accord 2.2ies as the light stays on
It means there is an issue with the airbag. Disconnect the battery for 10 minutes and reconnect. If this does not solve the problem, then you need to code the computer. If you don't have a code reader, take it in and have it done. It will tell you what the exact problem is with teh airbag. There are many things that could cause it, as the SRS system is pretty complex. Could be a bad sensor to a bad airbag ignition system.

SOURCE: The SRS light on my
The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) means that something in you airbag or seatbelt sensor has triggered the error. The system will not accidentally deflate the airbags but may not go off if in the case of an accident. Although some people say you can reset the system by jumping wires or something in the fuse box, *Do Not Do This*. This will and can damage the setup program in the computer, making it impossible to repair, and could damage the system entirely. Take it to the dealer to reset the system.

That means there is a problem with your airbags. Take both cables off of the battery for 10 minutes or so and reconnect it. This should reset your computer. If the light continues to stay on, code it. If you don't have a code reader, then take it in and have someone code it. This will tell you what is exactly wrong with the airbags. It could be something simple or something complex.

Open the door of both sides (driver and passenger) and look for the panel for the fuses. Remove the panel and you will see the fuse box. The information of the fuses is on the panel.
