Can't find fuse for windshield wipers in 2008 Ford Crown Victoria.

Thank you. I had left the windshield wipers in the "on" position....we had heavy snow husband turned on the car to defrost the windshield while he cleaned snow from both cars and blew the fuse in both the Ford and the Mitsubishi.

I was afraid I was to blame for blowing both windshield wiper motors.

The 2008 crown victoria interceptor has 2 fuse boxes.
One under the dash next to the driver door.
The other is under the hood, if you are facing the engine, the oblong fuse black box #2. This fuse box is closer to you then the firewall.
The fuse for the wipers is #110 in the 2nd fuse box
The fuse to the wiper washer fluid motor is #7 in the 1st fuse box.
I already had Taken the #7 fuse box 1, for the washer fluid motor running.
For the wiper motor to be turned off, It stated #7 and #110. Hence I don't know if the wiper motor would have had to have #7 out or not.
Thank you for your help !!!! Greatly appreciated !

Windshield wipers do not work on my 2004 crown victoria

It sounds like the wiper switch was going bad and now it has totally failed.

OR, it could be the wiper motor itself is bad.

If you can get to the wires that connect to the wiper motor, see if any power is coming to them when you move the wiper switch to each speed. If not, bad switch. Replace it.

Hi, i have a problem with my 2005 crown victoria windshield wiper not turning off.what could be the cause and solution. thanks

it could be a bad ground, but likely it is internal to the wiper motor. You could take the motor apart and clean the contacts and see if that helps. Try just removing the connector from the wiper motor and cleaning it first.
