Barely any heat coming from vents blower motor working

Hi, i recently have lost heat in my 2002 ford zx2. i hear blower motor running well and it varies speeds still it just barely blows hot air at all. it comes out barely at all on high speed in every position, defrost vents and ground vents. seems as if door that opens to let air go in certain areas is stuck. i have somewhat opened dash up but havent opened up fully yet

Check the coolant level & condition of antifreeze make sure it is not dirty/rusty/muddy if thats ok try a new thermostat & radiator cap if the antifreeze is muddy you may have to blow out the heater core

Youre on the right track with the ductwork baffles, i would also be looking at the vacuum lines and controls to see if hoses are broken off missing and if any debris is in the ductwork..there is a vacuum reser oir under the hood that keeps a constant vacuum on the system also.. check this to see if the hoses are broken or off.. good luck..

My heat kicks on, I can hear it and feel heat when placing hand on vents. However,Nothing blows out.

Blower is not running ? Or is ?if the blower fans not working check fuses or replace motor , if your heat cycles and your blower blows cool air , its likely a heater core issue

Little heat coming out of vents.

IF YOU CAN'T FEEL THE AIR FLOW OUT BUT YOU HEAR THE BLOWER MOTOR WORKING, BEHIND THE GLOVE BOX IS A CABIN FILTER.REPLACE FILTER
IF YOU HAVE GOOD AIR FLOW BUT NO HEAT:
1;VACUUM LEAKING TO HEATER CONTROL
2;WATER PUMP GOING BAD / NOT CIRCULATING COOLANT,HIGH RPM/MORE COOLANT TO THE HEATER CORE
3;OPEN THERMOSTAT/ENGINE TEMPERATURE TO LOW
1;CHANGE THE DIRECTION FROM VENTS TO FLOUR TO WINDSHIELD. IF NOTHING HAPPEN IS THE VACUUM
2;RUN THE ENGINE INSIDE ON WARM PLACE ON IDLE.NOTE THE GAUGE IF PAS 1/2 TO 3/4. IF PAS 3/4 MARK REPLACE WATER PUMP
3;IF GAUGE STAY BELOW 1/2 REPLACE THERMOSTAT
GOOD LUCK

I have a 2002 Grand Am SE, my heat works fine, temperature wise, but doesn't flow out of my vents very well. Whenever I turn the heat on I hear a loud humming/vibrating sound coming from my blower...

I had a very similar problem on a Buick recently. Like mine, your blower's fan blade assembly may have come loose from the motor shaft. There is a very small washer type clip that holds the fan blade part to the motor's shaft. Usually the whole blower assembly is pretty easy to get to and take off...usually. A lot of GM cars had the assembly accessed from the firewall behind the engine. You would need to pull the blower motor out and check the fan assembly.

2002 Ford Taurus has no heat. Water pump, thermostat, blower motor, the blend door and actuator are all OK. Both heater core hoses are hot. Clamped bypass hose shut. no heat, car did not over heat.Ac does...

Well the default setting for the a/c is defrost, and I might be mistaken on this but I think that bypasses the heater core from the blower motor to the defrost vents. Could there be another door in the heater case, I guess is what I'm trying to ask. Something in there left over from the old a/c days?

You hear the blower motor on fast and furious? Any chance the fan blade assembly came loose on the motor shaft?
If the doors are vacuum operated, a hand vacuum pump might help you. Also check if the switching controls for the vacuum signals are not linked to the unplugged a/c wires.

Have you tried smacking the blower motor? If it starts running after you hit it, replace it.

Does air come out anywhere? You can hear the blower motor running? Are the cabin air filters plugged.

1998 FORD EXPEDITION AC/HEATER BLOWER

This problem is caused my the blend door actuator motor, the electric motor turns to allow the flap to open either to cool or heat and then through the vents. The problem has been either the motor is going bad or the actual motor stops working. There are small plastic gears that strip in the motor causing this. I have replaced several in the rear unit. The front one is under the dash next to the heater core. The dashboard must be removed. It is a big job.
Please rate me and let me know if this helped.

You Feel the heat but it does not blow--
Check your Blower motor Ralay first if it is Clicking then check the Blower motor itself apply 12 volts to pos wire at blower motor if it does NOT come on Replace blower motor if it does work the Problem is at the Switch itself
