Question about 1996 Toyota RAV4
How can i change a timebelt for a 98 rav4.It is making a screching noise all the timeIf any body has an idea please tell me,or why the rav4 makes all that noise.thanks
If it is a screeching noise it will not be your timing belt. It could be your alternator belt or serpentine belt. You can buy some belt dressing (usually good to have) from the parts store and spray some of that on the inside of the belts where it contacts the pulley. You may also have to check the adjustments on both of those belts as well. If you run into this i can help take you step by step, but try this and see how that goes first.
