1999 F250 Super Duty with a V10 only blows warm air. 30k miles on engine. Coolant level fine, no leaks. Air Blend Actuator moves. Temp in to heater core is 115F, out is 105F

That's not hot enough at the heater core. Engine coolant temp is controlled by your thermostat. It is probably weak or stuck. Replace it. don-ohio (:^)

The heater is not blowing hot air? 2001 F250

Hello rcd. IF it is blowing cold air, change the thermostat under the hood. IF it is not blowing at all, change the A/C relay under the dash to the right of the steering column. Joe

Thanks for choosing Fixya!

2008 ford f250 6.4l diesel, heater works one time when i get in to drive, the next time it just blows cold air, its not overheating, not sure what is going, any ideas?

Feel the heater hoses when it blows cold air--they should be quite hot when the engine is up to temperature. If ok, then either the control center in the dash has a problem or an air-duct vacuum-controlled-valve has a problem with sticking in one position. The truck is too new to have bad vacuum lines, but one may have a kink that is causing a problem. Check around the engine and the dash control panel for a loose or split vacuum line.

Supperduty is blowing cold air at low speeds but heat works when engine is under torque...also the engine cooling fan will also run in the winter.

Check your coolant (antifreeze/water) level. If it's low, that's your problem. It might me a clogged heater core also. Hopefully just low on water. The fan should run year-round. Otherwise there's a risk of overheating, even in the winter. Good luck.

2003 Ford F250, the heater does not blow hot air

check the heater temp. control pot under the hood, inline on one of your heater hoses, it may be sticking causing hot water to only get to your heater core when the engine is at high r.p.m.s
