The sound you are describing is possibly the Constant Velocity Joint, it is not dangerous but will require either a re packing of grease if that doesn't sort it replacement I'm afraid.

Knocking sound at steering wheel during turning of mistubishi adventure

It sounds like a ball joint is worn, possibly the rack end ball joint or tie rod end.
With the bumpy ride it could also be that the front shock absorber has failed.
Jack the front wheel up on each side in turn, grab the wheel at each side and shake it back and forth as hard as you can. If you hear or feel looseness, the problem is in the steering, as above.
Then shake the wheel while holding it at top and bottom. If you feel looseness then, the problem is in the front suspension wishbones.
Repeat this on the other front wheel. Let it down on the ground, then bounce each front corner up and down as hard as you can (you might have to have a second person with you doing this). If you hear a clunk or feel excessive bounciness, it is the shock absorber. When bouncing like this, the car should resist, and not keep bouncing when you let go.

I have a 91 honda civic, when i turn the steering wheel it creaks can u tell me what is causing this and why?

I had similar symptoms (and also the occasional faint knocking sound from front left), then trying to leave the driveway yesterday, SNAP.  The steering wheel could do almost a full turn before the steering responded.  Careful...

Something knocking in a steering system on my 98 civic

Suspect worn outer cv joint. Check the boot for any tears, damage or leaking grease. If these are present your cv joint will fail soon if it hasn't already. If you put the car into reverse and turn the wheels to a hard lock a bad cv joint will make a popping grinding type sound. Try left and right turns when doing this test.

I have a honda civic 2003 when i turn the steering wheel on the left i heard a noise''

If it is a clicking noise during left turns, it is most likely your left outer CV joint has gone bad.
