I have a '93 Saturn wagon. It suddenly stalled and wouldn't start again. I replaced the battery and it started right up and ran for a couple of days. Then it wouldn't start again. I suspect it is the alternator, but it doesn't look like it is very easy to replace. Is it?

Have the battery and alt tested for free at the local parts store. Tell them what it's doing, and start suspecting a fuel issue. Could be getting the right amount of fuel but not burning it. (plugs, wires, coil) Or could not be getting enough fuel.
Still hard to say, so get the charging/power system checked first. Let me know what you find out as I'm real curious now.
Same happened to a friend and it was the fuel pump.... Same for another friend and it was 2 bad coil packs.
