Question about 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier
When I start the car there is a ticking sound coming from under the glove box. Don't know if this is part of the problem but around the same time I noticed the rear defroster quit working.
If it is around the glove box you may have something in the blower motor fins. the blower motor can come from under the passenger side dash I think it is 3 8mm bolts that hold it in there. You may be able to tilt the glove box down by opening it and pinching in the sides to see if a piece of paper fell back behind it. As for the defroster there should be no correlation.
