Not really any special tools vill be required.  You will need access to the underside of the car.  And the parts are really expensive.

How to replace volvo xc90 5t turbo O ring

It's not that hard. If you put the car on a lift or jackstands you can crawl under and see where the return line goes into the block. The leak will be obvious.
Get the seal and remove the line and roll on the new seal and put the pipe back into the hole after you clean it carefully.

That's really all there is to it.

My 2004 xc90 drives great until I want to accelarate, it makes a horrible sound. I have found that the turbo intake pipe is collapsing, any one know the solution ?

Noise is coming from the collapsed hose that goes to the intercooler. The turbo system has to be sealed to create boost. Replace the hose

Can I use regular unleaded gas in the 2005 Volvo XC90 (versus premium)? I'm looking at purchasing a used 2005 Volvo XC90 2.5L (5 cy Turbo) and want to know what would happen if I did not use preimum...

new cars have so many engine sensors built in that they automatically adjust from one type of fuel to another.

premium fuel usually has a higher octane rating which should give slightly more power, but most people will never notice the difference while driving the car as the difference is quite small.

switching from one type of fuel to another should certainly not harm the car in any way.

hope this helps
