Hello. It seems either your water temperature sender is malfunctioning or your ignition module is overheating.

Land cruiser engine light

It is possible that would be the fault. The cpu runs from the alternator and unless it is charging the battery the intermittent contact would cause the cpu to turn on and off. Run fault codes to be sure.

I have a 97 jeep grand Cherokee, when it has sat for over an hour it takes 8-10 seconds of the starter running before it starts. If turned off after running, and started within a few minutes no problem,...

Fuel pump. The valve in the pump that stops the fuel from draining back into the tank is not working so you crank and crank until the fuel gets up front. Turn the key on but not to start for 5 seconds then off do it five times and then try to start it should start right up

I drove my 97 blazer yesterday and ran the a/c. It did not run cold but was cool. After getting back from my 4 hour drive, I went home and let it sit for a couple hours. When I went back out to start...

Probably the compressor causing the belt to squeak. Try spraying just a squirt of wd40 on the drive side of the belt. It the noise goes away, its the belt. If not, its the compressor drive.

I have 97 camaro it starts and drive fine but when i shut it off it wont start back up until it sits for a few hours?

We had a problem like this in our 97 Camaro with the V6. It would run fine until my wife went somewhere with it, parked it and then wouldn't restart. When it would sit for about an hour then it would start again. It turned out to be the crank position sensor, when the electronic part of it got hot enough it couldn't sense correctly and tell the computer how to time the spark. All it would do is crank without firing. So once we had that sensor replaced it ran good again. Good luck I hope this helps! I'm on to the next problem it's having, an occasional battery drain and a radio and electric windows that die when they want to and come back later. BuzzieTN

What about the fuel pump relay. I had a car that would stall and would take 5 minutes to restart and it wound up being the fuel pump relay.

My car runs fine when Im driving it but when i turn it off the battery goes dead within a couple hours. what could be causing that

Ck the charging rate at the battery posts. Should be between 13.6 to 14.2 v. If higher than 14.2, it is not charging. If lower than23.6v it is over charging. Have your battery load tested at auto zone if chatrrge rate is within range.
