Is it as large as the head/block? If so it is the timing cover and a junk yard can help you if you do not want to go to the dealer

Contact the dealer, they have exploded parts views of every part in the car, but this does sound like a timing cover.

Where is the fuse box in a 1989 Mazda capella (not the one under the bonnet)?

Hello
I did not give up, the Capella is the same as the 626 in the USA.

The fuse box and fuse box diagram is located in front of the driver side door approximately 8 inches from the floor, under the or near the dash. There is a black cover on the fuse box on the cover is a diagram of the fuse box fuses. Remember this is for a left hand drive as far as the driver position goes.

What motor does it have

It could have a 4 Cyl 2.0 liter or a 6 Cylinder V6 2.5 liter. I'm sure anyone that looks under the hood could tell you.

Cylinder Head Swaps Mazda 626 from 1993 1,8i to 1996 2,0i

I do believe so. You can call the machine shop to be sure, but that sounds like it.

Good luck with that one.

Engine parts Cylinder head

Check the casting number on the two heads and see if they are the same. If not, your best bet is to call a machine shop and give them the casting numbers and see if they are interchangable...

I hope this helps
