Question about 1996 Pontiac Grand Am
Looking to buy a 96 grand am. previous owner says that when you get to about 45 mph it loses power. they just had a new head gasket put in, new fuel pump, fuel filter, gas tank, transmission checked out. just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what the problem might be???
Don't buy it. I had the same problem with a 96 grand am. never figured it out it was just one big head ache. Then 6 weeks later the tranny ended up going. They had many problems with the earlier models grand ams my advice is look somewhere else for a car.
