My car runs fine when you first start it up.It will run fine until the heat hand gets half way. Then it wil start acting up and finally cut off.

It will start up fine and idol all day.But when you put it in drive and take off it does fine until the heat hand gets to half way. Then the car starts spitting and sputtering and finally will cut off.You can pull over for about 15 minutes and let it set and start it back up and it will run a little longer and do the same thing.I have been told alot of different things

I don't know what type of vehicle or year of your car, but I had a plugged gas filter on a nissan doing the same thing.

you need to ck some basics you could have a vacuum leak which would hide during warm up but cause havoc when hot,the leak would cause high idle then your pcm would try to lower idle to spec thru use of idle control motor causing surging idle ,also fuel pressure needs to be checked while acting up,may be more cost effective to pay for an hour of diagnostic.

I hate to be a **** and say this, but it's a Dodge. I had this same exact car, same year that you had for give years, and I hated it more than any vehicle I have ever owned. I don't know how any of them still exist. I'm sorry you're having these issues. Check spark plug wires too. Also, things that are commonly replaced in that car would be 02 censor, and the CD Player not working? Try to replace it with a factory one from a junk yard or something, see if it works...if not, it's probably what I like to call 'Dodgeitis'.

Sounds like you are having a fuel problem with the fuel filter. If you have not had your car serviced in quite awhile i would do so. At least change the fuel filter and check the air filter as well. Hope thias will help you.

Car runs for miles , then when you cut it off it wo'nt start. new fuel pump and filter.

when the problem happens, check for spark. The crankshaft position sensor can get heat sensitive, and if it stops you will get no fuel injection and no spark.

Car runs perfect then starts missing real bad then stalls

Not unusual for fuel pumps to begin to fail once they are heated up from running. First thing in the morning pump is cool, then as you drive, it heats up and begins to lose pressure. After sitting a 1/2hr-1hr, it may start again and run fine for a short time and start to act up again. Had similar problem and found good fuel pressure when tank and pump cool, but lost pressure once vehicle driven a distance and pump heated up. The hotter the weather, the shorter the distance I could drive. If you can somehow set it up to have fuel pressure checked when it starts to act up, that would certainly help confirm if fuel pressure is the culprit.

The car runs fine when it starts. But when it has a hard time with starting. The whole system shuts down, all warning lights come on and panel does not operated properly. Then car starts running rough,...

I would first have the computer checked for trouble codes AFTER the problem occurs.
It will be very difficult for a mechanic to fix if the problem can not be duplicated.
