There is a little tester calles a NOID, it plugs into the harness connector to the fuel injector and flashes if there is a signal, they only cost a few dollars.

SOURCE: MY 01 Nissan Altima does not want to start.

Sounds like either the fuel pressure regulator or a clogged fuel filter.

SOURCE: 1993 nissan maxiam fuel problem ?or is it

When's the the last time the fuel filter was changed? A dirty fuel filter can cause many problems including rough idling, power loss, and stuttering. Replacement usually takes 15 minutes and on most vehicles is something you can do in your driveway. Expect to pay $10 - $20 for a filter. It's good insurance for your new injectors.

SOURCE: Hard to start any time of the day for 1994 Nissan Quest XE.

turn your key on, DO NOT TOUCH THE GAS PEDAL and start, good luck. Pumping the pedal doesn't do a thing for fuel injection. In thre days of carburetors and you had control of your own property, Pumping did a couple of things. It set the choke and added more fuel. But that was yesterday and yesterday's gone.

Car wont start

Try a little starting fluid in the intake and see if it runs a few seconds. If it does, it could be low fuel pressure or an injector problem. Maybe they aren't pulsing.
You have voltage to the injectors; now check the ground circuit: Use a test light and clip the lead to the POSITIVE post of battery. Put the probe into the ground terminal on an injector connector, and have someone crank the car over. If the test light is blinking, the ground circuit is good. When it blinks, that is when the computer is grounding the circuit for injector pulse to occur.

Change the fuel pump and still won't start on a 2002 chevy avalanche

Check for spark to the spark plugs, while cranking the engine. If no spark, you could have a bad ignition module, or a bad crankshaft position sensor. The crank sensor sends a signal to the computer, to start the fuel pump and signals the ignition module to start firing the spark plugs. It also drives the tachometer through the computer (PCM) Powertrain control module. The ignition module can be removed and taken to a parts store to have it tested. The crank position sensor is not as easy to test. Easier to just replace it. Good Luck. But wait, I have seen people replace the fuel pump, checked the fuel pump harness for power, and all was good. However, if the fuel pump does not have a GROUND, it will still not operate. Might want to check that. Have fun.

Starts cold but not when warm

Are you certain that the pump is on when the no start occurs? Do you hear it turn on with key on, not start, when the engine won't fire? It should turn on for 2 seconds to pressurize the line to the injectors. If you could, check fuel pressure when the no start occurs.

If it is the injectors, buy a cheap "noid light" to check the injector circuit. Buy the one that fits your injector harness connectors. You pull off a connector to one injector and put the noid light in the connector. When cranking the engine over the noid light should be blinking-that is the pulse that fires the injectors. The injectors have battery voltage to them any time the key is on. When the ecm momentarily grounds the injector circuit (internally in the ecm), the injector is pulsed. If the noid light does not blink or even light up when cranking, the injector circuit has a problem in the power side or the ground side.

The plugs fire but injectors not

there is a relay in engine bay fuse box. that controls the injectors and other one in there is for the fuel pump. will need to be changed. or give it a tap on the ground sometimes works. but will still need to be changed.

My mazda 323 b6 injecters are firering at the same time anf the cars does not start

Listen for the fuel pump to turn on with the key ON. Do you hear it buzz on for a couple of seconds, and then shut off? If you do, the pump is working. If you don't hear it, the pump is bad or the wiring to the pump is not working. Check the relay.
Usually, on a four cylinder with multi-port injection, injectors 1 and 3 fire simultaneously, and then injectors 2 and 4 will fire at same time (because their ground wires are spliced together before entering the computer. When the computer internally grounds the wire, the injectors will pulse). Are you certain that all four are pulsing at same time? If so, that may be the Mazda way. But I think you are right to believe it is a fuel problem. Test the pump as stated above, key on (not start) and listen for pump to turn on.
Good luck.

I have an 89 chevy c1500, 5.7, 2wd. Had it running and trying to get it timed. During this process i noticed the injectors quit giving gas. I put gas in it and nothing changed so i have been chasing the...

the reason the injectors stopped is because the motor is not running.this is a safety precaution built into the computer so the engine won`t flood.if the fuel pump is not working then you will have to check powers and grounds at the fuel pump connector by the gas tank to see if the unit is getting fed power and ground.someone will have to try to start the car while you check this out as there is a 2 second prime circuit if the car is not turning over.also this system uses the distributor to know that the engine is turning over to start.you may have a bad pickup coil in the distributor.this system also grounds the injectors through the ecm so you should have power to the injectors when the ignition is turned on,for your information.

It sounds like the fuel pump is not working. Perhaps the install was not completed correctly. Things to check, fuel pump relay, wiring, voltage to the pump.
The priming happens as soon as you put the key in and turn it to "acc" (you may hear a humming sound). Then once you turn it to "start" the injectors and spark plugs start firing.
Another possibility is that the fuel filter was installed backwards.

No fire

check cold start injector relay and injector. are u sure that fuel pump is good? can u hear it come on when key is turn to on ? it should come on for about a second if yes check for fuel from injectors , pull one injector put from head point into glass jar remove rubber boot from air flow sensor assembly, pull fuel pump relay and install jumper so fuel pump contiously runs then using a magnet pull up on air flow sensor fuel should be coming out of injector in a cone shape.

Car won't start

check backnnector on distributor assy. It's hard to find because is on the side just in the point nobody reach. Often it missconnect or broke. check, fix or re adjust as needed. check firing order of cables If not result.... 1.-unplug any spark cable and put a screwdriver inside it and place it in a safe place near a ground point. The object is try to see the spark jumping to ground. 1 or 2 cm will work for it. If you see spark, check fuel pump circuitry. uncap carburator and see if injectors spray gas when you try to engine. If you can see spark, change module inside the distributor cap.
if injector doesn't spray, check fuel pump, you must hear it for few seconds when you turn key to accs if you place your ear near thank. fuel pump work for few seconds but no spray on injectors: the same module above mentioned. if injector sprays and spark jump, the car must start
