If it's only working on high setting it is usually the blower resistor that needs replacing. They are usually located under dash, passenger side, remove cover, and it should be bolted or screwed near blower motor itself. $10-$20 part

Yesterday, I bought a 2004 Chevy Impala 3.4L. Driving, I noticed that there was no air coming out of the vents, and I had the blower speed set as high as it would go. A few hours later, it came on out of...

Sounds like a faulty blower motor, however it could be a bad connetion somewhere. The next time it doesn't blow, tap the blower motor lightly with a hammer or the handle of a screw driver. If it starts up, you definatly have a motor with bad brushes, and the easiest thing to do is replace it.Good luck , and contact me with any furthur questions.

Heater does not work on my 2005 chevy impala ls but the blower does but blows cold air

If you car is coming to temp but you get nothing from the heater the first place to look is the coolant valve for the heater core. It is sometimes called a mixing control. See if the control is jammed or your control cable is frozen or disconnected from this valve.

The valve should be somewhere near the cooling lines leading into the heater core. I am sorry, but they may be under the dashboard as well.

Good luck and be careful.

The blower motor resistor is located behind the glovebox mounted in the fan housing box under the dash.

No heat or air blowing on my 2005 Chevy Impala

As new as your vehicle is I doubt the motor is bad. I would suggest that you change the blower motor resistor first. They are relatively inexpensive and usually the problem on newer cars.
