Question about 1989 Buick Regal
Just bought a 1983 buick regal, took it for a long drive yesterday and unfortunately the car didn't make it all the way home fluids in reservoir tank from radiator was boiling hot, think it might be the hose that runs from the a/c condenser cause noticed when i got the car home it was broken any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated and really needed right now!

i got the same year regal i had the same problem it's on the driver side of the car in front of your engine at the bottom of your engine

the color of the plug does not matter at all as long as it works chances are the other one is just after market good luck with your project hope yhis helps you !!!

I looked at a auto parts store website and the same two years Buicks take the same radiator hoses so they have to be the same configuration

check the level of coolant sounds like you had a air bubble in the system and it finally came to the top.which means the coolant will be down.

You probably have a slight leak from the coolant filler cap and you have lost coolant by evaporation over the four months. Check the seal on the cap and replace it or the cap.
