Question about 2005 Mini Cooper
The drivers side seat should be able to go up and down in height. but it appears to be stuck. how can I get it moving again. the car is a 2005 mini cooper
You could remove the seat and check to see if there is anything jammed in the seat rails causing the seat not to adjust up or down. Remove the 4 Torx-40 bolts from the rails tilt the seat back and disconnect the connectors that are lined up under the bottom of the seat. MAKE SURE THE KEY IS OFF AND STAYS OFF. Check the rails, check the operation of the height adjust. If it still does not work then it most likely needs seat rails.
