I have a 2004 dodge stratus that wont sturt it trys but wont when it died on me i coultn get past 30 miles an hour an it was cutting out bad

The first thing you should do is get a code reader to see what the engine tells you is wrong with it. You do not have to buy one but go to a car plave lice like Auto Parts and they can check it for you for free. Some places charge you but not all. Call around and see. This could be due to many reasons ranging from a simple tune up to a bad mother board.

The valve thats on tha bar right infront of header has real short valve like on i bikes inner tube when i push in pin its dry no pressure? spray stater fluid air intake starts an cuts of shortly after>then...

possibly fuel starvation from either weak or bad fuel pump, clogged up fuel filter (in-line or the one with the fuel pump?).What happens if you keep spraying into the breather, does it keep running but cuts off when you stop spraying??(careful for back-fire and catch yourself on fire),then this would let you know it's in the fuel feed portion of the car. Check for trouble codes to let you know what part of the engine to look into, before you damage instead of fix it. Try process of elimination. I believe the valve, schrader valve, you're talking about is for the fuel pressure;don't touch something you're not familiar with its purpose. Hope this helps, some.

Keeps on cutting out about every 5 miles. leave for 15 mins and it will start up again. it seems like theres a lack of diesal going to the engin.

fuel injector was clogged- up, at the fuel lines, try fuel injector cleaner and let the car run for few minutes to eliminate all the elements and burned- out exiting at your exhaust. also replace your spark plugs right away if you feel your car is jerking or shaking.

Hi,
Pennzoil, 5-30.
I do not work for Pennzoil.( smile)
85k is reasonably low miles for the year of your Ford.

could be wear indicator on brake pad. how many miles on car? how many since last brake job? need to pull wheel off and check pads. Is the noise from the front or rear? this is the first thing to check there could be other reasons but start here and eliminate the brakes or not. good luck

Keeps cutting off after 30 miles

WE HAD THE SAME PROBLEM BUT NOT FOR LONG SO ITS BEEN WORKING FOR US AND HOPEFULLY THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU. WE'VE RECENTLY LEARNED BY JUST STARTING YOUR CAR THE CORRECT WAY IT HASN'T BEEN HAPPENING TO US ANYMORE AND THATS BY: WHEN YOU START YOUR CAR YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO HAVE YOUR FOOT ON THE BRAKES PUSHING LIGHTLY DOWN, THAT IS THE CORRECT WAY TO START A 1989 740 SERIES VOLVO QUOTED STRAIT FROM THE ORIGINAL MANUAL ON HOW TO OPERATE THE CAR. GOOD LUCK
