They are very reliable and very good cars to drive just make sure they can show you some kind of service record done on the car and if there is a library near you you can get a consumer report and if there is any voice activation system in the car you may have to have that changed at a dealership

Are they a reliable car. Do they have any major flaws. Are they expensive to service. I'm looking at buying one.

You did not mention what type of car it was. In any case, you can check out the reliability and owner comments by using google and checking the vehicle reliability statistics. You will find lots of good information in this way.

Where is my nuertral safty switch locTed on a 2000 sts caddy

Can't say I know exactly where except to say it will be on the transmission someplace, usually on the top. Look it up in a Chilton's or Haynes manual. If you don't want to buy one your local library will probably have one. If not they have online access to service manuals you can only get at their locations. Go online at the library and look it up free!

My 2006 vw caddy needs an engine overall, is oiling up spark plugs an is misfiring?

replace with a short motor will be the cheapest, quickest and most reliable way to fix it unless you have a lot of time to wait for the engineering to be done

I am looking to buy a 2001 audi a6 1.8t se but it has done 143000 miles. my question is how reliable is this engine and is there anything i should be concernrd about or are there any reliability issues i...

Like most modern cars, they are pretty reliable if the required amount of servicing and care is given to them. The mileage is not excessive if the interior and body work is in good condition. One thing to take into account is that most work having to be done on an Audi is labour intensive and will therefore be pricey. If you are getting the car for a good price - OK, but then also, the resale value is not great so you want to look after it and keep it a good while. Hope that is what you were wanting to hear.

I am looking to buy a reliable first car for my son.How is the reliability of the 92 Sunbird, anything I should be wary of?

As long as you have a couple of thousand dollars a year to keep it than go for it. If you don't than move on to something else.

Timing chain

If you can fix the Caddy I'm sure you can handle the Mitsu. Go to and buy a subscription for the Mitsu. All the info you need will be right in there. Or I can scan and email the timing chain replacement procedures to you.

Want to change the drive belt to a smaller belt on my 97 caddy de

Here's a tip that i hope works for you, If you look on the accessory belt routing, it may have a diagram on it for the option "with A/C" and "without A/C" All you need to do is look at the diagram "without A/C" and make sure there's not an idler pully inplace of the A/C pump. Then all you do is order a serp belt for same make/model/engine car, just without A/C which will take up for the excess slack in the old belt. Allthough it is a caddy, it may have no option without A/C, meaning every caddy had A/C. Something to look at, and also try calling your nearest advance auto or autozone and have them look it up without a/c, and ask if that is an option.
Good luck!
