Have you checked for spark on all 8 plugs? Unplug the exhaust side coil pack and run the engine. Does it run on all 4 cylinders?

Don't waste your time.
Have the intake manifold gaskets (upper and lower) replaced.
Check all vacuum lines for leaks.
Clamp all vacuum hose connections.
Do NOT replace any sensors unless the computer codes indicate.
THIS WILL FIX YOUR PROBLEM!

ok i figured out the ignition coil was cracked even tho id just replaced it a few months before so i replaced it and it ran fine for a week or so then the same thing happened and the coil was cracked again so i got another one and this time right after i started it i was watching under the hood and i saw the coil crack and heard it ! so theres gotta be somthing thats causing the ignition coil to overload or short out someone told me it could be the ballast resistor or that the wiring harness that plugs into the coil could have a bad wire im working on checking the wires to the coil now by connecting a test light to the pos terminal and probing the wires while turning the motor over if there good there supposed to flash when i crank the motor over bt any other ideas on what could be causing the ignition coil to keep burning out would be much appreciated thanks,
