Can you tell the general area where the antifreeze is leaking? Also check the power steering fluid.

Antifreeze leak from rear of engine on pontiac grand prix

Rule out leak from water pump. What engine is it - 3.0 3.8. Could be intake manifold gasket. Have the cooling system pressurized, about 12 lbs. and look for leak, bubbles.
check oil for coolant in oil also. Possible head gasket leak.

How to change a thermostat in a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix

You may need to drain a little of the antifreeze to get level below the thermostat level. Make sure you have something to catch the antifreeze and discard it properly.
Follow the water outlet from the radiator and where it goes into the intake manifold. Remove the two bolts one on each side to remove the thermostat housing. It is not necessary to take the hose off of the the housing. Remove the thermostat and make sure that both surfaces that meet when you put back together are clean and free of debris. You should get the gasket along with a new thermostat and replace both. Make sure you only use DEXCOOL to replace any antifreeze that was lost.

95 Pontiac Grand Prix, 120 K, leaking antifreeze (small puddles after 1-2hr parked @ curb). Original owner/original radiator. Not a DIY-type. Advice ??

You need to pressure test the cooling system and then inspect for the source of the leak. If you are not a DIY, take it to a shop.

04 grand prix shuts off

My 04 Grand Prix was doing the same thing. Not sure if what I found was the reason for it, but I removed the air filter portion of the intake, reached into the intake a little pulling the throttle plate down. It was caked in carbon build up. With a lint free rag and some throttle body cleaner, I scrubbed the plate and since have not had anymore issues with the car not starting. Hope this helps anyone.
