I have an Honda Insight 2009. There's a HMMF and spanner sign on the meter in the center of the speedometer. Whats the problem. THere is a Japanese narration that I cannot read

i dont have a manual and no warranty back up in my country i imported my self so what should i do ?

I just checked on that one, they said to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, and the lights will reset? I have heard this but never had to try it. Your spanner is scheduled maint and the oil light you know. And they both should be resettable. Hope this helps.

Hello, being a 2009 model, it should be still under warranty, it sounds like its due for a periodic service but check with your dealer.

Not sure of the term: yellow spanner light ?
Are you check owners manual under instrumetns panel description?

Honda Insight ZE2 uses CVT Fluid. Use only Honda CVTF. NOTHING ELSE or the repercussions will be quite serious.. U can get it changed anywhere that they have the fluid in stock but i'd recommend a place that can reset the warning light after you get it done... I personally would prefer to go to the agents but there are plenty of places that specialist in hybrids such as hybrid motors, arabian motors etc but as I said before any garage that has Honda CVTF can change it for u, comes down to ur personal preference.. Capacity is almost 4L and the cost per liter is about Rs. 2,000/=

what country are you in, am i to guess that? why?
if you can read English. the operators guide is free.
ever seen it, it's in the USA glove box. all dash lamps explained
in vivid details and photos of each and every light ......
RTM , read the manual, yes, !
the 2010 is here, my be close. but do ask honda for your FREE book. now.

after all what if you were stranded in a far place, and no manual.
